Tim and I were sitting on the bed and Sophie pointed at the two of us and said, "Mommy, Daddy. You're Tim, you're Cheryl." Really? She said it so matter-of-fact and Tim and I laughed for a good 5 minutes about it.
Tonight, in frustration, Sophie yelled at her daddy and said, "Tim, get up!!!" I've come to the conclusion our daughter is very good at modeling Mommy's behavior....I've probably said this phrase more than necessary! Now I get why parents start calling each other mom and dad!
