The Stepsister

I typically find most toddlers cute, lovable, and overall innocent. HOWEVER, there is one child in Sophie's class that makes me worry just a tad. In the times I have seen this other child in action, she has put another child in a headlock, pushed another child down, physically removed a little girl from a chair, etc. I slyly tried to tell Sophie to stay as far away from this girl as possible, but it seems that's pretty inevitable. It was the other day when Sophie was telling me about her day and kept mentioning the "stepsister." I kept wondering who the heck she's calling her stepsister when it finally dawned on me. Sophie has taken it upon herself to give the little bully a nickname because she reminds her of one of the stepsisters from Cinderella! I refrained from giving Sophie a high-five and praising the nickname, and instead we had a good chat about name-calling. But, if this little bully ever hurts my baby girl....watch out!!!
