As I was getting ready for work this morning, I had the monitor on in Sophie's room since she was a bit fussy last night. I was quietly getting ready when I started to hear her move around in her bed. I figured she'd crawl out of bed soon and come and see me like she usually does. But instead, she pulled the shades from her window and saw it was raining outside. For the next minute or so, I joyfully listened to Sophie as she quietly sang to herself, "Rain, rain, go away, please come back another day." She kept singing it over and over; by far, the sweetest singing voice I've ever heard and the best possible start to my day.

Tiny Moments

I think we should record their voices more often. That way when they grow up and start talking back to us, we can watch these videos and hear how cute and adorable they used to be.
