So after exhausting almost all our resources, we finally got our computer fixed. Tim asked his computer tech guy to look at it and of course, he fixed it in a snap. What a skill!!! So, I guess I must live with my 7 year old computer for now....I have a new laptop on the way so I guess I shouldn't complain!
My lack of sleep has been getting the best of me. Right now I am functioning on getting 5 hours total, in two increments...one stretch for three hours and then another stretch for 2 hours. When I was dealing with Sophie at this age I was able to nap everytime she took a nap. But now, Noah is taking a nap and Sophie is ready to run a marathon so that erases any chances of my getting a little shut-eye. I'm notorious for counting how many hours of sleep I get, Tim gets, Sophie gets, Noah gets that I'm trying to stop because I think it's making me more tired. But, if I continue to be able to count the number of hours of sleep I get on one hand I'm in big trouble!!!
Sophie is continuing to get up in the middle of the night, sometimes 3-4 times at night. Not sure what is going on, but I'm thinking this is her adjustment period as well. I looked up night terrors, but I'm not willing to commit to this diagnosis as she doesn't seem to fit the criteria.
It's a rainy, dreary day here today. I was hoping to take the kids somewhere, but I think we'll be stuck inside for most of the day. Trying to keep a 2-year-old entertained continues to be a daily challenge for me. I think she's ready to go to school for a few hours a day, but since every place within a 90 mile radius has a waiting list, I'm not so sure she'll be able to get in before fall. Nobody told me I had to get her on a waiting list the second I found out she was conceived!!! Why do I always miss out on these memos???
