This isn't Kindergarten

I'm already overwhelmed with art projects, homework, sight words, and book logs. Apparently, kindergarten is no joke. I'm so glad she is adjusting well and having so much fun, but she comes home and we go straight to work on reading, art projects (I'm still peeling the glue off my fingers), and other daily activities we are expected to complete. I think her homework "folder" should be renamed her homework "binder."

So, I'm taking a breath and blogging because I just noticed I haven't written a thing in a whole week. All of a sudden, even this blog is feeling like homework!! Which reminds me, I better check on Sophie's art project and make sure it hasn't cemented itself onto the kitchen counter. Gotta go!

What? Homework? I thought I was done with that when I graduated from college. You mean it starts all over again?
