Fevers Suck

Noah had a high fever last night, so I spent most of the night sleeping on his floor, pacing back and forth, and googling every illness associated with high fevers. Thankfully, his fever broke this morning so we are hoping he fought off whatever little viral thing he may have had. I hate the fact that I know fevers are very common and a very normal way for babies to fight off infection, but when it happens to my child, my imagination soars through the roof and I think my child has contracted some rare disease!

This morning, he's acting his normal self as he's already hit his sister and climbed onto the table! Let's hope!

I'm glad Noah's feeling better. I think it's hilarious that he climbs on the table.I know it's probably not that funny to you and I will never show Alexis any pictures of Noah on the table so she doesn't get any ideas.

Me, too Cheryl! I immediately get on the internet and try to self-diagnose. If that doesn't work I am on the phone with the 24 hour nurse hotline trying to decide if a trip to the doc is necessary. I try to avoid being the mom that constantly takes their kids in for the slightest things, but I hate to see them uncomfortable and hurting. Thank God for Motrin, Tylenol, and Dimetap!!
