- I'm having a Tumblr vs. Blogger ordeal. And then I threw in this new one called Instagram and then Natalie threw back Google+ in my face. So now I am part of Blogger, Instagram, and Google+....awesome. I am still intrigued by Tumblr, but am a little intimidated. I need help. Tumblr seems cooler. Can everyone check it out and we can make a decision together? Come on, I think it will be a fun new adventure!
- We have been practicing for Nancy's driving test for the past few weeks. We even went to the DMV and followed a driver taking his test because we are sly like that. Thankfully, she passed with a near perfect score the first time and she is now my personal assistant! Muah ha ha ha.
- I took the kids and dogs to Reno/Tahoe for the week and forgot my camera. To sum up, we had lots of fun in Tahoe, hanging out with the grandparents, and eating lots and lots of great food. This is also when I was introduced to Instagram and shared some cool photos....if you have an iPhone 4, YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THIS. It is the best thing ever and you can keep up with me even more!
- I have taken on more responsibility with work, which means I have been working from home quite a bit this summer. Again, doing not-so-fun work on the computer makes me NOT want to blog.
- Tim is crazy busy with construction on his course. He's busier than I imagined he would be when he took on this new job.....we miss him. A lot. But we are managing and we are excited for the final product. Check out his awesome blog at http://miravistarenovation.blogspot.com/

Obvious Truth
Okay, maybe we I should address the big elephant in the room. Or maybe I can continue to ignore it and post once a month and pretend that is an acceptable rate of blogging. I can't really say not much has been going on, because we have been busy and there have been many photo opportunities to share. But, the fact that I am avoiding the blog world like it's a college paper is a bit bothersome. Here are a few thoughts on the subject (yes, I am blogging about why I am not blogging....and even making my excuses while using bullet points).

I forgive you, and I wish I had an iphone for instagram! I will have to check out tumblr, but I cannot make any promises!
Okay.... so yes, you are forgiven...but only for 30 day lapses between photographs (which means you have one more day to get a picture posted on the blog because your in-laws do not have an i phone 4 or whatever it is and wont be getting one anytime soon)...not for turning two old people into blog-addicts then making them go cold turkey. The withdrawals have been terrible.... we have taken to gazing at pictures of DIRT on a daily basis (the course renovation) and getting irritated when new pictures are not up on schedule! Its pitiful I tell you! Of course we are thrilled to view our son's handiwork but truthfully it does not compare to pictures of our grandchildren. just not the same. Okay...so we get the point... the blog is going away. FINE..... so I will tumblr somehow provide us with regular updates or is there another catch?
Yep, I think blogging your excuses with bullets totally counts as a post....
