We were driving home from Noah's doctor appointment today and I knew we were cutting it very close to his nap time. I think I was about two miles away from home when I noticed he was still awake...seconds later, he is fast asleep in his car seat!! Sophie broke the news to me while I rolled windows down, tried singing loudly, and did everything I could to wake him up (you know you do it too, people!).
I unsuccessfully transported him from his car seat to his crib. He is now repeatedly screaming, "Ma-ma, Ma-ma!!" And Sophie keeps reminding me that Noah is currently awake. Thanks Sophie. Uggghhh, another nap bites the dust.

Why is it that they are so tired that they fall asleep in the car but when you try and take them into their comfy bed, they don't want to stay? Boy if they only knew how bad they would want their bed when they're our age. Next time have Sophie tickle him to keep him awake.
And you forgot to add that you pay for it later, too! Been there done that!!
I grab Naomi's foot, turn a movie on for her super loud.. I HATE when this happens.. HATE HATE HATE. I work when Naomi naps, so I literally try everything to keep her awake! BUT sometimes nothing works, I like Megs idea about using Sophie if she can reach!
